A New Beginning

He used to be the God that healeth thee and just like the word healeth his healing ministry has been phased out – Modern Day Christians Association

Why do we question God if He is not a man that He should lie?

The anchor (Hope the anchor of our souls) of all our Faith (He is the Author and Finisher of our Faith), our Love (we love because HE first Loved us) is His Word.

He doesn’t alter that which He utters. His WORDS are eternal, a living spring flowing even from Everlasting Light and not a stagnant gutter. His promises are not HOPE-SO, MAYBE-SO, THINK-SO. They are definite and GUESS WHAT!!!! IN Christ they HAVE BEEN FULFILLED AND PROVIDED.

All things are possible… only in looney tunes.  – Modern Day Christians Association

His healing boots are still kicking...
His healing boots are still kicking…

The first words uttered were LET THERE BE LIGHT. The death and resurrection of Christ saw man availed the opportunity to enjoy the experience of being translated from darkness to Light.

There is no light at the end of the tunnel. You are the LIGHT of this dark world ! Stop sitting on the switch! TURN ON, TURN UP!!!

They that believe shall lay hands on the sick and if they aren’t careful they will get infected and die alongside the sick – Modern Day Christians Association

Jesus rewrote the script. The promise of the Law was a life of death and disease! but the travesty of Grace was this: that God came to tabernacle with man. The Life of Christ was shed for all humanity and Majesty dared to fellowship with the mundane. The Wise and Wonderful One embraced the worthless worm called man and His Grace gave him (MAN) worth.

We must set out in faith this year! It is time to break free of the howling, piercing cold of unbelief into the warmth of Faith-propelled and powered by Knowledge of the divine.

This is the New Beginning.

Petroleum engineer? Yup. But I love writing as much as I love solving complex reservoir engineering problems. Watch out for poetry. Still trying to soar the heights of prose tho' Stay tuned dearies.

  1. Let me just say this quickly: Jesus, characteristically, went about healing people (his disciples borrowed several leaves from this, Cc @Peter at the Gate called Beautiful.)

My point? Pastors should visit my local hospital beside the old mechanic’s shed and heal those kids. I’m sure God will be pleased. I don’t see why not.

I also want to see a commuting Christian walk up to that LAWMA cripple energetically sweeping the Lekki Phase One bridge every morning and lay hands on his legs and command him “STAND UP, MY FRIEND!!!” to the glory of God.

Am I asking for too much? LOL. No. I know that if I was a Christian, I’d be able to do that. Otherwise, why else am I one?

    • My question to you is what exactly are you then?

You are not asking for too much as your comment is the exact point of the post. Christians are full of power but remember “my people perish for lack of knowledge”…

  2. I don’t know why men/women sometimes doubt
But faith comes b hearing and hearing by the word
So they need to hear the gospel, the good news
And to livé by what they hear.

    Arguing about it won’t do
Proving which is right and which is wrong won’t do
Conviction is the terrain of the Holy Ghost, not mine
Living by the gospel is enough!
