I woke up with a stirring in my Spirit.
“How do we paint in pictures the divine secrets of Him”
“How do we express the thoughts of the Father…”
Jesus was blunt with Nicodemus. He did not try to explain the existence of the Father. He took for granted that he would know that. He says without biting back his words “For God so loved the world…” He does not categorize or classify. He draws no differentiating line nor does he discriminate. He throws a blanket over the entirety of humanity, a blanket of blessed affection. Jesus declares for all eternity – God Loves us so much.
This thought is very high to consider. It makes no sense. but somehow it makes more sense than the musings of atheists who claim that we crawled out of some primordial stew.
He seeks to plant the heavens in your heart.
He longs to hold you in His arms
He yearns to kiss and shower you with love
I kept thinking as the rain danced on my rooftop… the pitter patter against the corrugated iron sheets sounded much like race horses prancing round a track. Their hoofs thumping, stumping. It dawned on me that God would allow this rain fall both on the good and the evil. He would it drench the suit of the hypocritical priest and wash clean the soot from the face of the simpleton on the streets.
It is this same Love that births the outrageous creation called the Christian. He is on a different plain to every other species for this one shares the same Spirit with God. He is a partaker of the Divine Nature, called into perfect fellowship with the Father of Lights. The Christian!!!! wow!
Within you, resident in the bowels of your being is a power so immense that a nuclear bomb is puny in comparison. It is known by many names but I choose to call it the Glow of the Almighty. It is the Quickening, Active Spirit of God!
“And he shall be like a tree planted…” You take root in the righteousness of God. You bask in His glory. You are well-watered!
It is the reality of those who are called by His name… The calling of God is synonymous with victory, virtue and vastness. There is neither scarceness nor lack. There is no inability. One in such a place does not fail, falter or fumble. Within you have the Glow of Glory, without you bask in the Shadow of the Almighty!
God’s shadow is brighter than the brightest of our galaxy’s suns. Have you seen the aura of the anointed ones? Have you heard their song? How they cry “holy! Holy” night and day! To activate your Glow you have to acknowledge your Glow. It is that life that radiates from the inside out.
It is Christ in you!
