Like Jesus Too

He loves me with reckless abandon so much so that He left the throne and arrived on human shores as a little child. A little middle-eastern child with the occasional pimple and the normal everyday frailties of mortal… yes! he sneezed when cold, he cried when Mary refused to take away his plate of vegetables and give him COLDSTONE Ice-cream… Okay, perhaps I exaggerate.. but doesn’t scripture tell us that He is an High Priest touched with EVERY FEELING of our infirmity! and when last I checked I still have a weakness for ice-cream..

He did not consider it a travesty to shed himself of all glory and be counted as one of the criminals to be summarily executed by the iron fist of Rome. Had it not been that He came from a family where breathed syllables birthed galaxies, a family where Light is the atmosphere and Love the temperature, his name would have been penned down for all eternity as a notorious rebel who attempted to usurp the Caesar via ludicrous claims to deity. Perhaps today he would simply be a by-word on many lips instead of a reference point for millions, a cuss word for some and the object of many a controversy.

He also did not consider it travesty to unite us with Himself, to call us into fellowship with Him, into a different kind of oneness where the sum of all parts is indistinguishable from the individual parts. For Just as He is … SO ARE WE IN THIS WORLD.

Petroleum engineer? Yup. But I love writing as much as I love solving complex reservoir engineering problems. Watch out for poetry. Still trying to soar the heights of prose tho' Stay tuned dearies.
