Dear M,

Subject: Meeting Lady M (Episode I)

I wasn’t looking for love but I found you.

I can only imagine the look on Adam’s face when he first laid eyes on Eve. How his lips arched from cheek to cheek as he struggled to contain his obvious excitement. No doubt there would have be some form of resonance in his human spirit as he beheld the woman who was taken out from his side. Can you imagine? He is never regarded as saying that he loved her but we know that he recognized her.

First the rush of relief after periods of naming the animals, from the majestic mane of the lion to the slithering crawl of the boa constrictor, Adam would have sighed as waves of peace settle on him simply because he had found his bone. Immense, apt words to describe such a moment when the maiden first lays eyes on her man, when the prince holds his beloved and they walk beneath the canopy of endless sky and trees.

Well … I felt this when I saw you Lady M. From your droopy eyes that seemed to beckon to me, urging me in into her world, to her bright smile that arched from cheek to cheek. There was this rush of peace! I wasn’t out in the world searching for love, but I found you. It was a discovery that only could have happened by the perfect orchestration of Divine forces.

In this, I was in the same boat as Adam who knew then and there that the woman before him was taken out from within him. I too, knew that  you, Lady M, were a perfect reflection of my internal structure – not my fallen, frail frame but from the sturdiness of my recreated spirit.  You were taken from my rib, my bone – porcelain perfection, chiseled till excellence poured out from her.

Yours in Oceans of Love

Petroleum engineer? Yup. But I love writing as much as I love solving complex reservoir engineering problems. Watch out for poetry. Still trying to soar the heights of prose tho' Stay tuned dearies.
