CALL TO KINGSHIP

[COMMENTARY ON ISAIAH 52:2] Shake off your dust; rise up, sit enthroned, Jerusalem. Free yourself from the chains on your neck, Daughter Zion, now a captive Set yourself free. This is indicative of the terrible responsibility that faces the believer. There is a sense that God is intimately aware OF our weakness – He knows that we are held captive. The question is what captivates us? Paul declares that we are alienated and made enemies in our minds. The walls that hold us back are firmly rooted in our heads, between our two ears. We have allowed the pernicious principles of the prince of perdition to render us useless. We feed fat on a diet of death and despair, ignoring the vast vista of virtues and victory. Daily as we trudge along life, we are doused with dust. Our minds are tainted with wrong philosophies and beliefs. What do we do? We need to renew our minds constantly [Romans 12:1-2].

Superstar King, David Jesse has allegedly been pointed out as the adulterous murderer responsible for the death of decorated warrior Uriah. Though we do not peddle rumors we have it confirmed from reputable sources (Auditors from Nathan Management Services) that the chief executive officer Prophet Nathan confronted the poet/music artiste turned King about his philantrophy philandering with the wife of said warrior, Bathsheba. Solomon’s Porch: Preamble

He was not one given to the overly dramatic except that one time when instead of castigating the woman caught in adultery he bowed his head and scribbled in the sand like a child or that other time when he spat into mud and used the mix to restore a blind man’s sight. Disclaimer: I am not an authority on these issues. I am operating with the mind of Christ and despite my own fickle and fragmental knowledge at times I trust that the Spirit of Christ will reveal to you the substance in this shadowy post. Please allow Grace to express itself in you. Special thanks to JMD for spurring me to write, to Tomi of Arike’s Art for speaking up and TJ for just being TJ. HAVE YOU READ MY BOOK? COOKIES WITH CHRIST! CLICK THE LINK http://goo.gl/OyMvAm Enjoy the piece… It blows my mind that we who were once puny worms in the devil’s trophy case have been translated majestically to the place of dominion where our garish rags of self-righteousness are torn away and we are clothed with the righteousness COMMENTARY ON PSALM 132:9 and ISAIAH 51:6 Lift up your eyes to the heavens, look at the earth beneath; the heavens will vanish like smoke, the earth will wear out like a garment and its inhabitants die like flies. But my salvation will last forever, my righteousness will never fail. There are fabrics in heaven. Unlike the earthly attires which are susceptible to rot, wear and tear, these garments have eternal value. They are sewn from the blood of the lamb. These are the fabrics of faith, love and hope. They are the ones that Christ weaved on the cross at Calvary. God makes bold

MAN OF SUFFERING

Hi there, please do follow this blog by email and tell your friends and foes about it. I trust that God will bless you by the words therein. [COMMENTARY ON ISAIAH 53:3] He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised, and we held him in low esteem Appalling they uttered, How could the one who called himself King be stripped naked and hung on a tree before all men as a mere criminal? It is quite inconceivable to hold the image of a God that can be killed. Definitely if we apply logic to it if God can be killed then death is God? This is the stumbling block of the cross. For on the wooden tree Christ experienced in a moment all the pain and suffering of man. Songs have been written. Poetry flows from the lips of muses like a
